I was wondering if anyone was having a hard time posting on here....it took me almost 45 minutes to sign in...even had them send me my password by email...to find out it WAS my password...I was right!

Hey!!!!

Hoping everyone has a great week end!

It is raining here...actual thunderstormy weather....lmao

Think I may make a nice fire to get out the dampness....later tonight....

So how is everyone doing????

Haven't heard from some of you in a while!

Been doing alot of baking... breads...muffins...cornbread...biscuits...etc....

Making homemade goodies.....like stews...baked beans....chilli...shepherd's pie....cabbage rolls....lol

Gathering herbs!

Washing wool...combing it...spinning...and weaving.....go figure???? My favourite hobby!

Sewing a bunch of new kitchen towels....10 handtowels

                                                                                 8 dish towels

                                                                                 6 crocheted dish cloths

8 Scarves.....done

6 prs of slippers..........4 done...2 half way there...lol

Gonna start making some pj's for the boys.....warm ones for the winter.

Got one load of firewood...another coming this Sunday!

Then in two weeks we are getting more...lol....gonna be a nice toasty winter...lol

Been keeping busy...the children are all working well in their school work...love homeschooling man!

They are enjoying the last of the summer...by riding their bikes...playing football...basketball...running...going for walks....picnics out back...bonfires!

Toby especially likes the roasting of hotdogs...but Luna loves the marshmellows more...hers are never brown...always look like they were burnt alive!

Anyways...have laundry to do...a kitchen to straighten....tea to drink and waiting for hubby to come home to do groceries!

You know.....people have me curious.....if it happens to you its important enough...if it happens to someone else ....the theme seems to be ....oh well!

Went through a bad spot a bit ago...got some wonderful people who helped with what we needed and supported us with friendship....the love and prayers alone were absolutely amazing...people really rock!

Then boom..... other people we know have problems....we jump to help out and ..... NO ONE ELSE bothers!

Then someone else we know gets bad news and no one cares........except us.

YET....the people surrounding them are all conclusive when they have problems its more important?

Why is it always different when it is about them?

Confusion rings in my ears as I write this....I mean we are there to help each other...no one is better than another!

So sadly I see a side to some that makes me wonder why?

When life is too precious

not to share....

not care about others....

and its time we stand up for ourselves and for others.....

help out those you can......

be considerate....compassionate.....care!

GREETINGS!!!
Today as I teach the kids..bread is baking....homemade baked beans cooking in the oven too ...the sun is out and its just plain lovely here!
We have been gathering rowan berries...having bonfires and picnics outside!
Things have become very bountiful...and life is back on track!
We are trying to teach the children ways to be green....from lightbulbs to using the dryer less...to not wasting water...recycling...planting trees...finding ways to save....everything we can!
Gather herbs...making our own teas...medicines...magic is another way to utilize what surrounds us....gardens are wonderful for this....we are going pear picking later...lol...when hubby gets home from work.
Looks like we may get an early winter this year....hoping all here know you are wished awonderful week....and we care!

Things have gotten hard.....

Stress is in abundance and emotions are strained... money issues are piling up faster than we can keep up with and we are hoping that things work out within the next few weeks.

I rarely ask for help....and I ask no more than prayers...blessings and love.
